Sign Up Procedures
Sign-up for Men's Club play is available on/at:
the Pro Shop (on Play Day, for next week's play only.)the Woodlands Bulletin Board (before 12 p.m., the
Saturday before the next event.)
Pairings:

The pairings and tee assignments will be available at the Pro
Shop approximately one hour before each shotgun start.

A list of the members who have signed up for the event will be
posted on the website when possible, by Sunday evening.
Cancellations
NO CANCELLATION WILL BE ACCEPTED ON THE WEBSITE.

Cancellation prior to 12 p.m. Saturday, may be done by
crossing your name off the sign up sheet at the Woodlands Bulletin Board or by calling Virgil Martin @ 541 593-8429.

If a member must cancel on Play Day morning, notify
the Pro Shop (Phone number) at the course for that day's play at least one hour before the begining
of the shotgun. Members who sign up to play and do not call and cancel will be considered as a "No Show" and may not be eligible to play in the next scheduled Men's club event.
Player Pool

Entry into the weekly Men's Club competitions
is voluntary. To be eligible for prizes requires a $5.00 payment to the player's pool on
the day of play.

Those not wishing to compete for prizes will be paired together and play outside of the competitive field.
Weekly winnings from games, skins, KPs, low gross and low net will
be credited to each individual's accounts and paid out at the end of the season, by check mailed to their address
on file with the Mens Club.
Frost Delays
Information regarding frost delay and/or cart path restrictions will
be available by calling (541 593 7880). The Golf Staff will update this voice recording every morning regardless
of a frost delay or not.
CALL NO SOONER THAN ONE (1) HOUR AND NO LESS THAT THIRTY (30)
MINUTES PRIOR TO SCHEDULED/REVISED START TIMES.
Abandonment Due to
Bad Weather
If play is suspended by hazardous or inclement weather, play will be resumed, if possible, when
the threat has disspated, determined by the Pro Shop. The Club President, or his designee, may cancel the event, should
the suspension of play be longer than 30 minutes. If the event is cancelled, players will be credited their
$5 contribution. If a player leaves prior to any determiantion by the Pro Shop and play is resumed, his team will
not be permitted a blind draw to replace him.
Handicaps
A handicap of 36 or less at the Woodlands is required to compete for cash prizes in weekly
club competitions. Prior year's SRMGC members whose handicap becomes greater than 36 at the Woodlands may compete for cash
prizes using their actual course handicap upon review and approval of the Handicap Commitee.
New members without an
established handicap must post five 18 hole scores (prior rounds accepted) to establish a "TREND " handicap, in order
to play for prize funds. Each player must post each and every acceptable round played (except Men's Club play)
into the GHIN System.
THE HANDICAP COMMITEE WILL POST ALL SCORES FOR ALL MEN'S CLUB PLAY.
As a member of the Sunriver Mens Golf Club, you will receive an update of your USGA Handicap
Index from GHIN via e-mail each time your handicap is revised.
Remember to post ALL your non-Men's Club 9 or 18 hole golf scores, in the Meadows Pro Shop or in
McDivot's (Woodlands) immediately after your round!
Golfers who travel and play away from Sunriver MUST post their scores, at the course played or on
the Internet.
Players who travel and play away from Sunriver for the Winter, MUST post their scores (last 20 acceptable)
to GHIN before being allowed to play in any Men's Club event. Scores can be posted on-line, or you can post the scores as
a "visitor" at the club house where the round was played.
Tournament Scoring for Men's Club Competitions
We will use USGA Club Standards to keep our competitions fair. Tournament
scores are a way for the GHIN System to automatically track players who shoot exceptionally low scores (approx net 65 or lower) during
Men's Club
competitions, over a rolling 12 month period. Selected Men's Club events
will be so designated on the schedule as "T" (Tournament Score) by the Board. Resort Cup competition scores will be
posted as a "T" score.
Tie-Breaking Procedures
If a tie breaker is required in any competition, other than Match Play or the Club Chapionship, USGA procedures will
be used to determine a winner:
- 1st tie breaker, lowest score for the last 9 holes;
- 2nd tie breaker, lowest score on the last 6 holes;
- 3rd tie breaker, lowest score on the last 3 holes;
- 4th tie breaker, lowest score on the last hole.

Responsibilities of Team Captains
The team captain is the lowest handicap player on the team
and is responsible for the accuracy of all scores recorded on each hole. He is responsible for maintaining speed of play and
enforcing the Rules of Golf. At the end of the round, the team captain is responsible for completing the official score card
by adding up the team's total score, each individual player's gross and net scores and turning the card in to the Pro Shop.
FLIGHTED EVENTS
In all flighted events, the First Flight, (the (8) eight players with the lowest handicaps) will play
from the tournament tees. All other flights will play from the white tees.
